WOW!!
11/05/2009 by Sally Ben Moshe
It's with me. It's with me all day, all night and probably for the next month. Immersing ourselves into this musical bath in such an intense and organized manner is exquisite. Kudos for the organization and the sound guys. I am totally enamored of Jason Feddy's guitar and voice. What a star! Thank you for the Tsanchani Brothers, Shomer HaEsh, Alki-Palki , Sweet Mama Cotton and, of course the Foggy Hogtown Boys. We may have been latecomers to the festival but we are ardent supporters. Can't wait till next year. Sweet Mama Cotton is
Great Weekend

It was very well organized and, as usual, untypical for Israel , everything went on schedule. Best act that I attended, beyond any doubt, was Lilac Sheer and Shay Tochner. Professionalism at its best and pure joy. I would also prefer to see them on the main stage Friday night. See you next year.

how can we thank you enough for jacob's ladder? always a joy. the 2 acts that stood out in my mind/ears were jason feddy and red meadow. red meadow were unfortuantely scheduled much too late and it would have been wonderful for warming us all up earlier on in the evening (plus more of us oldies- and youngies- could have enjoyed this great sound). jason HAS to be on main stage next year! as usual the loos etc were very clean. and you even managed to control the weather this year too. thanks to you both and to all the volunteers, musicians, clowns, puppeteers etc etc.

Once again an incediably organized festival. Some of the most amazing acys were on the smaller stages especially Jason Feddy. As for the main stage maybe three years running of Candian blugrass is enough. As for the various gypsy, balkan etc... I am sure that I am not the only one who doesn't particularly like it. Let's move some of iot away from the main stage and bring some rock , folf blues anything else. Still JL is so much more rhan the music that I'll be comming back for more.
IT'S AS GOOD AS IT GETS

Yehudit and Menachem - thank you! Yes there was a superstar who completely destroyed the audience JASON FEDDY. I hope he makes aliya some day, anyone have a superwoman (he used a different term) for him? He could devastate the main stage prime time single handedly, he's so amazing. Even jamming with him was an ultimate joy. Gotta have him back. The Canadian Hogtown guys were wonderful as well as Sweet Momma Cotton, all with whom I had the honor of making some fabulous music. My deepest personal thanks to you for being the facilitators of such memorable musical experiences and thanks to everyone who was there. Love - Harold

I Have been going to JL for years but this was my first time at the Festival with my kids ( 2 & 4 ). It was a different experience having to "entertain" them most of the time. The festival is definitly Chlidren friendly and they had a wonderful time and already asking when we will go again (we just got back!). Thanks once again for a wonderful weekend :)
Rewinding to the Ladder

Winter Weekend 2008
07/12/2008 by Linda Goldstein
Hi Yehudit and Menachem, I think the worst nights of the year are the two Saturday nights after the Jacobs Ladder Festival, at least until you get over the fact that it's over and up till the moment you realise that the next one is not too far away. I just called Ginosar to book for next winter (I only managed to get on the waiting list for the summer and that's since last winter), they asked me if I wanted to book for 2010 - what a silly question!! As always it was a terrific festival, Ben Sands was superb, I am hoping to see him again in Ramat Hasharon. I think all the brothers should return together. Tempa was unbelievable, My only complaint is that it is too short, it would be great to have 3 days like in the summer. Thank you to both of you and your wonderful helpers. I would go again "to Morow" but the train already left yesterday!! Please accept my e-mail hug, Linda Goldstein

Menachen, this was a first for us and we thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful experience, of the jam sessions and stage shows and the wonderful Abrams family and friends. We will certainly try to make it a regular date in our calendar. Well done and good luck

we also had a lovely weekend and agree to all compliments you got from all and we want to add ours as well! see u next year. two comments: we suggest that u solve the "chair" problem in front of the main stage as not many people followed menachems's request to put chairs at the side. we suggest to cordon off the middel section in front of the stage and only allow to put chairs in the wings. ofcourse you will need some guys at the spot to folllow up. secondly in our opinion the "sound" company was last year more efficient while also the quality was better.
