BANJO MASTER CLASS with SCOOTER MUSE (USA)
Performing at this year’s festival on guitar and 5 string banjo with the Alabama based Celtic ensemble, Henri’s Notions, Scooter Muse is the 2008 Tennessee Valley Bluegrass Banjo Champion and Finger-picking Guitar Champion. He has been privileged to win the State of Alabama and Tennessee Valley Bluegrass Banjo Championship 8 times as well as numerous competitions throughout the Southeastern United States.
Scooter will be giving a 5 string banjo workshop at this year’s festival. Some playing experience is suggested for participants and will cover the basic Scruggs technique as well as the more progressive Melodic style.

BELLY DANCE with SAHARA
During 15 years of travelling Sahara has studied with many of the finest teachers and has been influenced by native cultures from around the world. She won Best Belly Dancer in the Tribal category at the International Belly Dance Festival in Eilat in 2009 and currently performs solo, with live bands and teaches Gypsy Tribal Fusion Belly Dance in Tel Aviv. In this workshop we will practice some basic movements and put them together in a fun choreography for all ages and levels. Bring a hip scarf if you have one!

Ruthi Soudak has been practicing hatha yoga since 1985, and was trained as a teacher the Bihar School of Yoga in Bangalore, India in 1993. Since then she has taught in India, Canada and Israel, and has trained with many different teachers in many different styles of hatha yoga. Ruthi teaches a synthesis of the many different approaches she has experienced.

Organized by Gai and Ella Shalev together with Reidman College-trained and experienced staff offering treatments to help you relax your body and soul: Reiki, Reflexology, and a wide choice of massages. Special: A Hands-on Massage workshop for couples and individuals. BASKET-WEAVING WORKSHOP with Sima Oren (Salima)
Fee for materials
Basket- weaving is a creative process using natural materials, including palm branches twigs and natural sprigs. The weaving at the same time is a very personal process, each person creating his or her own unique basket. Weaving is very satisfying and results in each participant recognizing and trusting his or her own talents and abilities.
The workshops are suitable for children over 6, and for both men and women.
At workshop’s end, participants will have a basket of their own making.
