Jacob's Ladder Festival

Israel’s friendliest musical and social event, a unique bluegrass, folk, country, blues, Irish jigs and world music extravaganza, appealing to thousands of both Anglos and Israelis, is held twice a year in two different formats on the grounds of Nof Ginosar Hotel on Lake Kinneret.

The SPRING FESTIVAL begins on a Thursday in May at 16:00 and ends on Saturday at 17:00. Most of the performances are held outdoors and up to 3000 tickets are sold. clip from May 2011 what people say

The WINTER WEEKEND is a cozy hotel weekend of great live music and Jacob's Ladder style fun which begins on a Friday in December at 16:00 and ends on Saturday at 17:00. The winter event, for up to 500 participants, is held inside the hotel.

Both versions of the festival feature live performances by outstanding artists from Israel and abroad, dance and music workshops and other fun activities for all ages.

Onsite rooms are available, but tend to get booked up a year ahead! It is possible to camp for free at both of the events.
