The Folk Trio & The Gang – A 3-part & harmony acoustic instruments group, specializing in covers of 60-70s folk, rock, and country favorites – from Simon and Garfunkel, the Beatles, Crosby stills & Nash, and others.
The trio formed out of Tel Aviv’s jam session scene, with the singers each jumping in to fill-in harmonies on the fly in each other’s songs during jams. Partnering with the talented instrumentalists froming “The Gang” the group started to rehearse and perform 60s classics, alongside modern folk, and even original arrangements of later pop & rock songs.
The group primarily plays in Tel Aviv bars, focusing on tight vocal harmonies and acoustic instruments in a style that is missing from the young Israeli music scene.
